Goal: to examine propaganda used in the US during World War One to get Americans to support the War effort and identify the methods used.
Do Now: What is Propaganda?
Today we will use the web and analysis sheet to work in pairs to breakdown various propaganda posters for World War One.
HW: Syllabus last day is Friday 1/27, HF Topic sheet now due Thursday. EXAM on WW 1 is 1/31
For the next three class period we will be watching the film Paths of Glory to examine the combat conditions and how the military viewed its soldiers. PLease complete the question sheet and turn it in after viewing.
