PS 101 Parent Letters

On April 26, 2012 students in grades 3-Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day 3-55 will take the NYS Mathematics Exam. April 26th is also the day designated as the National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

Please be advised that on Thursday, April 5, we will cancel all after-school programs due to custodial clean-up.  After-school programs housed in PS 101 (21st Century and TASC) are cancelled on April 5th.Afterschool – Cancel due to holiday 4-5-2012

During Parent-Teacher Conferences on March 13th, parents/guardians will receive a free PS 101 Tote for completing and returning the Parent Survey which will be given to them during the conferences.  This tote is a reward to families for completing this exciting task!

PS 101 will continue with the third Orton-Gillingham workshop on Wednesday, March 14th ortin gillinhamto help our families gain a better understanding to help their child learn effectively.

There will be a Scholastic Book Fair at PS 101 on Monday, March 12 – March 16 in the cafeteria.  Books are very reasonably priced, some available for as little as $4.  There are a variety of literacy supplies available for purchasing such as bookmarks, pencils and erasers that are priced at 50 cents and up.Spring Book Fair 2012

You can gladly pick up a Pre-K directory at our General Office of view on-line.  The deadline to submit your Pre-K application is April 5, 2012.Pre-K ADMISSIONS 2012-13

Parent Surveys -Parent-Teacher ConferencesParent-Teacher Conference on Tuesday, March 13th at 1-3PM and 5:30-8PM.  Students in K-5 will be dismissed at 12:00pm.

There will be no school for Pre-K students on Friday, March 23, 2012.  Classes will resume on Monday, March 26th.Non-attendance for All Pre-k -March 23
